Response periods, hearing dates, and appeal deadlines follow different calendars. Some dates make it into the diary, some don't, and the weekend brings a nagging "did I miss something?" Missing a deadline can have serious consequences.

A client calls in the middle of something else entirely. Remembering what stage the file is at means checking the folder, then finding your way back to what you were doing. Repeated a few times a day, these turn into a separate workload.
