Privacy Policy

This page explains the approach techperlab.com takes to visitor privacy.

This is the English version of our Turkish-language notice. The Turkish text was originally prepared under Turkish law and is the authoritative version; if there is any conflict between the two, the Turkish version prevails. How the Site Works

The site consists of pre-built static pages. It does not create user accounts, does not require sign-in, and does not use cookie-based tracking.

Visit Statistics

The site measures visit statistics with Umami, which we host on our own server. Umami does not use cookies, so no cookie consent notice is shown for this measurement. The information collected includes the address of the viewed page, its query parameters (including UTM tags that show campaign source) and title, the referring address, browser, operating system, device type, screen resolution, browser-reported language, country, region, and city. The IP address is not kept in raw form; it is processed only to derive location information. The session record that distinguishes visitors is built from a hash of this information, and the value used in the hash changes once a month, so no persistent visitor identity is kept and visitors are not tracked across sites. The statistics collected stay on this server and are not sent to any third-party analytics company.

Alongside these, certain interactions on the site are recorded as events: viewing a product page (together with which product it was), clicking the email link, clicking through to a product's own site, and starting to fill in the form on the Share Your Idea page. These event records do not include names, email addresses, or phone numbers. They are stored in the same cookieless analytics tool alongside session statistics.

Cookies

The site does not use cookies for measurement or advertising, so no cookie consent notice is shown. If a cookie-based tool such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel is added in the future, it will only be enabled after visitor consent has been obtained.

Information Stored in Your Browser

When you click the language switcher, the language you choose is stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage) under the name techperlab:locale. The stored value is only tr or en; it carries no identity, is not used for measurement or advertising, and is not sent to the server. Its purpose is to open the site in the language you chose when you come back. This record stays in your browser until you remove it, and you can clear it at any time with your browser's site data clearing feature. Nothing else is stored in your browser.

Forms

The site has two forms: the one on the contact page and the one on theShare Your Idea page. Both use the same infrastructure and the same protections. The name, email address, and content you share through them are sent to our contact infrastructure at form.techperlab.com in order to deliver your request to us. Cloudflare Turnstile is used to protect the forms. During Turnstile verification, technical information about your browser and network environment may be processed by Cloudflare. The details of this processing are explained in theData Protection Notice.

If you would rather not use the form, you can write directly to the email address shown on the page. A message sent that way is also processed in order to respond to your request.

Your Rights

For detailed information about your rights regarding the processing of your personal data, see the Data Protection Notice.
