- Attach checks to fixed times. Rather than looking whenever it crosses your mind, look at set moments of the day. A regular check tires you less than attention that drags on all day.
- Note what you saw where. Write down where you looked, when, and what you found; as options multiply, screens start to blur together.
The real difference is timing
These methods bring order to the effort; but to catch a slot, the moment it opens has to line up with the moment you look. Nobody can give their whole day to an appointment screen. Checking availability at regular intervals and sending word the moment a place opens is work better suited to a system than to a person.
